Autumn evenings are the best. Such a nice time to hang out by the cottage and marvel at the changing season; enjoying the fall colors in the trees and flowers.  Maynard happens to be soaking in the scenery while staying close enough to smell what's cooking.

Last hint. Maynard loves mums, ferns and mushrooms.  But his favorite, while they may only bloom into the early fall, is the annual flower, Helianthus Annuus (derived from the Greek words helios anthos).
